The hype is on!
Brand new single from YUI, release date 5 Oct 2011.
YUI wrote Green a.live as an encouragement for those who were affected by the earthquake/tsunami in March 2011. The lyrics has deep meaning to it, find the lyrics + romaji and rough translation in YL forum.
When the first preview was heard during School of Locks on 22 August, I immediately got hooked to the song, repeating a low quality audio rip for the entire night... and looping a better quality rip after I got it the next day. The song was stuck in my head. Within 3-4 hours from the broadcast with the LQ rip and tsunvun86's lightning speed chordings, I recklessly made a cover. xD
And later on, made a piano cover. My playing is far from perfect. One main ingredient lacking in my cover is the genuine 'deep sad feeling with the strong will to get back up' feel. I couldn't feel that much sorrow to pour it into the cover. 2ndly, though I came up with the keys by myself... I can't play them well OTL. Funny huh?
And preorders are up everywhere...
